Salmon Veggie Balls

 

These Salmon Veggie Balls are the perfect little bites for toddlers.
A great way to introduce your little one to new flavours and texture while they self feed.

Ideal for toddlers 1yo+

Serves: 20 balls

YOU WILL NEED

  • 300g salmon

  • 1 orange kumara

  • 1 zucchini grated

  • 1 carrot grated

  • Salt & pepper (optional)

METHOD

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees

  • Remove the skin of the kumara, cut into chunks and boil until soft and ready to mash, set aside to cool down.

  • In a food processor, mix the kumara and chopped salmon and blitz.

  • Grate the carrot and zucchini, drain and add to the kumara and salmon mix.

  • With wet hands, roll out balls and place on a baking tray with baking paper ready to bake.

  • Place in the oven for 20 minutes or until cooked and golden.
