Chickpea & Oat Crackers
Give these delicious spiced crackers a go, prepare on Sunday for the week ahead and store in container for on the go home-made snacks.
Ideal for toddlers 1yo+
Serves: 30 crackers
YOU WILL NEED
400g cooked chickpeas
1 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp LSA (optional)
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 cup olive oil
Pinch of salt
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees on fan bake. Line a tray with baking paper and set aside.
Rinse and drain your chickpeas, place in a food processor and blend until smooth.
Add the rolled oats, continue to blend followed by the garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and salt.
Shape the dough into cracker shaped pieces and place on the baking tray.
Place in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden.
Keep an eye on the crackers and be sure to flip the crackers over at the half way point.
