Healthy Chicken & Veggie Sandwiches

 

Packed with veggies & protein, using mashed kumara puree as a spread, these little sandwiches will make a great lunchbox option or meal on the go for your little one!

Ideal for toddlers 1yo+

Serves: 1 sandwich

YOU WILL NEED

  • 2 slices of wholegrain bread

  • 10-20g shredded chicken

  • 2 slices of cheese

  • a handful of spinach

  • Kumara puree (sauce)

  • Pinch of salt (optional)

METHOD

  • Cook 1 cup of kumara, strain and leave to cool. Mash with the back of a folk or blend until smooth.

  • Spread the kumara puree over the bread.

  • Add two slices of cheese, shredded chicken, and a handful of spinach.

  • Enjoy!
