Chickpea Brownie Bites, by Libby

Ingredients:

1x 400g can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1/3 cup maple syrup

1/3 cup almond butter or peanut butter

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon baking soda

½ cup chocolate chips

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees on fan bake and line a loaf pan with baking paper.

In a food processor or blender, blend the chickpeas, almond butter, maple syrup, salt, baking powder and baking soda.

Pour mixture into loaf pan and sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden. Remove from the oven and let cool for 30 minutes.

Cut into squares and serve.
