Chewy Oat Bars
Prep time: 15 minutes. Serves: 8
Ingredients:
2 cup oats
1 cup almond butter
4 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup almonds, roughly chopped
¼ cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Method:
Line a loaf pan with baking paper. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine almond butter, honey, butter for 5 minutes or until melted. Remove from the heat and add the remaining ingredients until well combined. Pour mixture into loaf pan and press down. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until hard. Remove from the tray and cut into bars.
