Red Quinoa, Carrot & Garden Peas
A quick and easy introduction to colourful vegetables and new textures with this healthy blend of carrot & garden peas with red quinoa.

YOU WILL NEED
30g Organic Red Quinoa
1 1/2 Organic Carrots
50g Organic Frozen Peas
METHOD
Pour the red quinoa into a pot over the stove. To speed up the process, boil the kettle and pour the boiling water into the pot.
On a medium to high heat, cook the quinoa for 20-25 minutes.
Slice or grate carrots and add to a separate pot over high heat, cook until soft.
Cook your green peas in a separate pot or plunge then in the same pot as carrots if you have a divider.
Once the vegetables are cooked, strain them and put into different bowls.
Mash the vegetables individually until soft and smooth
Strain the quinoa and get ready to serve. Put the quinoa at the bottom of a jar followed by the mashed green peas and carrot split
If you have any leftovers, do the same and store away in the fridge for later.
