GREEN VEGETABLES & BABY RICE

This Green Vegetable and Baby Rice is a great way to get kids to love healthy flavours. These light and bright vegetable blends for babies is full of nutrients, making your babies feel good from the inside out.

Serves 1

Suitable for babies 6mo+

YOU WILL NEED

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 1/2 leek

  • Handful broccoli florets

  • 1/4 cup peas

  • 6 tsp Only Organic Baby Rice

METHOD

  • Slice the leek and sauté in the butter.

  • Add the broccoli, cover with water and bring to the boil.

  • Simmer until the broccoli is bright green and all vegetables are tender.

  • Add the peas and cook for another minutes.

  • Drain, putting the cooking water to one side.

  • Puree the vegetables, adding the cooking water until you have a smooth, runny puree.

  • Stir in the Baby Rice.
